Robin Courrent
Originally from Narbonne in the south of France, I worked for a few years in mechanical engineering near the Pyrenees, and I now devote myself fully to my passion in the Alps, in Savoie.
Skier, skateboarder, climber, canyoneer… I love all board sports, anything that has anything to do with the outdoors and pushing yourself to the limit.
I started out in photography as a freestyle skier, and when I couldn’t get my feet wet on huge tables, I bought my first camera to film my friends, and quickly turned to photography rather than video. Ever since I was little, films and magazines have shaped, and continue to shape, my view of sport.
I like well-constructed images, capturing riders in their environment and immortalizing the most beautiful tricks. I particularly appreciate the challenge of capturing an image that tells a story, because in these fast-moving sports, that’s where the challenge lies,
the right angle, the right timing to freeze the beauty of a unique moment, to feel the atmosphere and ambiance through the image.
"First edition for me in 2023, volunteer on the Festival set-up, I was able to discover all the backstages of such a festival, I could take advantage of it to immortalize all this work. A great team, for a great festival! "
